Time
Clothing is not something that can be created overnight; it takes many hands and a long time to complete a single garment. However, in today's accelerating consumption cycle, the accumulated labor and time are being consumed and discarded in a way that does not reflect the value that was originally invested in it.
TMMY respects the manufacturing process and takes a fresh look at the fundamental and enriching act of continuing to use things with care.
Trace
We have been thinking about how we can make clothing something that is not something that can be easily thrown away, but can be used for a long time and cherished. One answer we have arrived at is to reconstruct the traces of handwork and the emotional connection with the maker through clothing.
By doing so, the value of clothing will be redefined from an inorganic, mere consumer item to a unique item with a warmth, and as a result, its lifespan will naturally be extended. TMMY proposes an experience that deviates from simple consumption as one key to extending the lifespan of clothing.
Material
All TMMY items are made using only fabrics that have been thoroughly researched and selected from textile-producing regions scattered throughout Japan, with a clear understanding of both the background and quality. Aiming to be the gateway to the experience of "cherishing one thing," each item is carefully designed down to the smallest detail and is tailored to be timeless.
To extend the life of clothing, we first ensure that it is an honest product. Based on this premise, we offer high-quality clothing that can be used with peace of mind.

Why Embroidery?
Here, we would like to share why we were drawn to sashiko, and how it came to form the foundation of our approach to making clothes.
